Phelwana Game Lodge is a luxury accommodation situated in a private reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park region of Limpopo, South Africa. Located at 197 Guernsey Rd, Hoedspruit, it is approximately 40 km from the Kruger National Park's Orpen Gate and 37 km from Hoedspruit's Eastgate airport. The lodge is owner-managed by Pierre and Jeanine de Villiers, who redeveloped the property a decade ago, building on a family legacy of nearly a century in the region, including being a founding member of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve and undertaking significant conservation initiatives. Phelwana Game Lodge was recognized with the 2019 Lilizela Award for the best 4 Star Game Lodge in South Africa.The lodge can accommodate up to 52 guests across a variety of luxury options, including 2-sleeper tents, bush villas designed for 2, 4, or 6 guests, and a private 3-bedroom self-catering residence that sleeps six.
