It is situated in Chitimba village, 122 km south of the Malawi/Tanzania border at Karonga and 143 km from Mzuzu, the capital of the north. The camp is surrounded by the notable Livingstonia and Nyika mountains, offering picturesque views. It lies directly off a tarmac road that traverses the country, making it a convenient stop for overlanders traveling between Tanzania and Lilongwe.The 1.8-hectare property features a large thatched bar, restaurant, and lounge as its central hub. Accommodation options include 8 single rooms, 7 twin rooms, 2 double rooms, a dorm with 4 beds, 4 basic en-suite rooms, and 5 luxury en-suite rooms distributed across the property. Additionally, there is ample space for up to 80 tents, complemented by separate male and female toilet and shower blocks.
