Lukuba Island Lodge is an exclusive accommodation situated on Lukuba Island in Lake Victoria, the world's second-largest freshwater lake. Located approximately 45 minutes west of Musoma and 13 kilometers off the mainland shore, the lodge offers a unique and tranquil escape in the eastern part of Lake Victoria. It can serve as a convenient stopover for travelers arriving from the Masai Mara or as an easy destination just 75 kilometers from the western Serengeti gate at Ndabaka. Access to the private island property requires a boat transfer, with guests typically needing to arrive at Matvilla Beach pier before 2 PM to board.The lodge features a blend of five elegantly crafted stone bungalows with traditional grass-thatched roofs and three classic tented safari cabins, all positioned near the bay.
