Wake up at midnight and trek to Socialist Peak. Follow the trail through bushland to Rhino Point. Continue to Cobra Point and then the summit, Socialist Peak, to experience the sunrise above Mount Kilimanjaro and views of Mount Meru's crater. Descend back to Saddle Huts for a break, then descend further to Miriakamba Hut.
