This site, just offshore from Fort Qaitbey, contains sphinxes, columns, capitals and statues dating from the Pharaonic, Greek and Roman eras as well as giant granite blocks believed to be remnants of the Pharos lighthouse, broken as if by a fall from a great height. Depth: 8m to 15m. Rating: novice. A dive can be arranged by Alexandra Dive.
