Loita Hills

Loita Hills is a captivating region situated in Narok County, Kenya, nestled south of Nairobi and northeast of the renowned Masai Mara. This low-lying mountain range, also known as Subuk Leita or Subukloita Hills, encompasses an area of approximately 1,200 square miles and features elevations exceeding 8,500 feet. The landscape is characterized by lush, dense cedar forests, home to unique flora such as strangler figs and traditional medicinal plants.
