Marangu

Marangu is a significant town located in the Moshi District of Tanzania's Kilimanjaro Region, positioned at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is divided into Marangu East and Marangu West and is renowned as a primary access point for climbing Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, particularly via the popular "Coca-Cola Route". The name "Marangu" itself means "a place with many water streams," reflecting its lush environment.
