Sodwana Bay

Sodwana Bay is a pristine coastal area located on the east coast of South Africa, within the KwaZulu-Natal province. It is nestled within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Maputaland Marine Reserve, situated between St. Lucia and Lake Sibhayi. The region is characterized by its unspoiled natural beauty, featuring miles of untouched beaches, warm Indian Ocean waters, and a backdrop of high coastal dunes and the Zululand wilderness. The climate is subtropical, with ocean temperatures consistently above 20 °C, often reaching 29 °C in summer.
