Mogundula Island is a small, uninhabited tropical idyll located within the Quirimbas Archipelago in northern Mozambique. Covering approximately 21 hectares, the island is characterized by its pristine talcum-powder sands and clear turquoise waters. Geographically, it is an islet in Cabo Delgado Province, situated near the town of Pangane, with coordinates around 12° 02' 45" S latitude and 40° 32' 38" E longitude, and an elevation of 13 meters.The island offers a secluded castaway experience, featuring five eco-chic villas designed with a blend of traditional teak, coral stone, and glass. These villas are air-conditioned by a solar system and open onto large, sun-drenched decks with mini splash pools, sunloungers, and hammocks. Dining areas are available both covered and alfresco, with winding walkways leading to secluded coves, romantic salas, and private treehouses.Mogundula Island is a significant natural habitat, serving as a feeding and nesting ground for various marine species, including sea turtles, dugong, dolphins, and whales.
